Salzkammergut Advent Break - Christmas Markets
In the four weeks running up to Christmas, the Salzkammergut is a
wonderland of Advent events. Markets selling Christmas gifts, decorations, food
and drink, traditional plays and music. In early December there are the ancient
rituals of Krampuslauf and the arrival of St Nicholas with gifts for the
children.
Join us to experience this special time of year.
Who knows there may even be
the first snows of the winter.

Advent is a season of rich traditions in the Salzkammergut and there are
markets and advent events throughout the region. The villages around Lake
Wolfgang play host to markets every weekend in Advent and you can travel
from one village to the next by boat. Each day throughout advent there is a
bustling market in the historic squares of Salzburg. Join us in Austria to enjoy
the delights of this special time of the year. Who knows there may even be the first snows
of winter!

- Day visit to Salzburg Advent Market ( for all breaks to

- Visit to the Wolfgansee Advent Markets.
